So I glued on 2 fake nails (pre tomorrows shoot) and they are glued on for good.
There appears to be no hopes of removing them anytime soon. I stuck my nails in acetone for a solid 6 minutes and not even a slight budge. To make matters worse, they are an ugly faux-french-manicure that are bejewelled with little gold beads and diamonds. Shoot me now.

Incase you are unfamiliar with Cindy Sherman she is an American born photographer who not only takes her own photos, but is her own model (and has been for over 30 years), makeup artist, hairdresser, wardrobe consultant, and creative director.

After seeing her solo exhibit at the MoMA last week in NYC, I was so inspired I thought I would take my own Cindy Sherman style shot. I got into character and VOILA! A homeless man is how it ended up. Below is the final shot from this series*. I am planing on doing a few more characters (strung out socialite, overly emotional drunk, out of control obesity.. who knows)
Without further adue, here goes my first attempt!

I thought these would look a lot better. I also did a terrible job applying them.
Sooo today I went to print something for a job interview TOMORROW at print zone and I specifically said I needed it for TONIGHT. the dude didn’t call me back! He called me to say he would call me at 8 to pick it up and now it’s 10…. Ummmm really print zone?!

Just got my nails shellacked today in this beautiful charcoal grey. Obsessed.
I had such a good ‘me’ day today. Got ma nails did, went to the mull and did some chopping, worked on mah fitness at the gym, ate a really good turkey burger and now I’m going to start packing for Jamaica.

Love the new nicki colours. Every colour is appropriately chosen and work both together and alone. I’d love to try the lime green or the metallic plum.
